Blaisdale Montessori School warmly accepts children and families of all backgrounds. Blaisdale Montessori School was founded in 1969 by Mrs. Eleanor Wilson. It has a long and proud tradition as one of the first Montessori Schools in Canada. The School has 7 campuses serving Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Scarborough, Oshawa and Bowmanville.

Blaisdale Montessori Annex Campus educates and cares for children from the ages of 4 years to grade 3. The Annex Campus has 2 classes. The floor area is approximately 4 ,500 sq. ft., the school outside play area is 35,000 sq. ft. The play areas are very spacious and have both grassy and rubberized surfaces. The school is air-conditioned and playground is shaded by trees on the two sides. The Casa (Preschool room) is one of Blaisdale's most beauitful rooms with high arched wooden ceilings and sky lights. There is also a large recreation room in the lower level for the children to play in during the winter months. It is also used for extra cirricular sports and activities.
