Blaisdale Montessori School warmly accepts children and families of all backgrounds. Blaisdale Montessori School was founded in 1969 by Mrs. Eleanor Wilson. It has a long and proud tradition as one of the first Montessori Schools in Canada. The School has 7 campuses serving Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Scarborough, Oshawa and Bowmanville.

Blaisdale Montessori Rougemount Campus educates children from the ages of 12 months up to 9 years of age (grade 3). Rougemount has 4 classes. The floor area is 5,700 sq. ft. and the school play area has 6,200 sq. ft. and a quarter acre of grassy play space. The school is air-conditioned, and the playgrounds have rubberized, grassed and macadamized areas. There is a recreation room for the pre-school and Elementary children at the lower level of the Annex Campus. It was first open in 1984 and moved to this location in 1995. For added safety, security and peace of mind the grounds and classes are outfitted with video surveillance.  This Campus accepts part- time attendance. The entrance and playground is safely located at the rear of the building.
