Blaisdale Montessori School warmly accepts children and families of all backgrounds. Blaisdale Montessori School was founded in 1969 by Mrs. Eleanor Wilson. It has a long and proud tradition as one of the first Montessori Schools in Canada. The School has 7 campuses serving Pickering, Ajax, Whitby, Scarborough, Oshawa and Bowmanville.

Blaisdale Montessori Westney Campus educates and cares for children from the ages of 12 months to grade 8. This campus now has an Infant program for children 12 - 18 months. The Westney campus started in Ajax in 1988. It moved to this ideal permanent location in 1999. The school has 15 classes. The floor area is 24,000 sq. ft., the land is 5 acres and the school's playing fields and playgrounds have 2 acres with 3 separated play areas. The gym at the Westney campus has a double gym of 5,000 sq. ft. Most classes have their own washroom, and the school is air-conditioned. The Westney campus offers Summer Camp as well.
